A New Build Garden

So here's what I've been up to recently.  I had a request from a client to have a look at their garden at their new build home and see what could be done with it.  The garden is about 9x4.5m in size and they wanted an area near to the house to be a patio so that they could sit out and take in the evening sun and also wanted a small lawn.

It was a challenge to fit both of these things in but by turning the design it makes the garden appear wider than it is. This provides wider planting areas that would otherwise be not much more than narrow strips along the side of the lawn if the garden was not turned at an angle.

The raised planters are made of timber sleepers and once planted up will add a bit of height and the paving would be either a Buff Sandstone or Travertine which will contrast against the slate coloured flooring of the house adjacent to the garden.

Now, what's next...
